Weren't the libs going out and getting homeless people and whatnots to register to vote by giving them cigarettes? It's on both sides for sure.

"Ask the Democratic primary voters in Florida and Michigan who have been disenfranchised by Howard Dean and the Democratic Party."

Michigan changed moved its date up and Obama wasn't even on the ballot yet. That shit was ridiculous. The state parties broke the rules, and thusly were excluded. Still, Dean says they will be seated at the convention because it's not fair to the voters.

"Better yet - one word - superdelegates. Is that what democracy is supposed to be about Tomato Can?"

Hell no. You think I'm pro-superdelegates? Of course not, they are an awful invention that should be done away with. What's the point of all this anyway? To further divert this thread away from Rush's blatant douchebaggery?

There is nobody more emblematic of modern conservatism than Rush Limabaugh - a blubbery, impotent drug addict with three divorces, saving America from the hordes of indecent libruls.

 How about Rushs military service?

www.snopes.com/military/limbaugh.asp

he had a Pilonidol cyst, basically an ass rash

Introduction

Pilonidal cysts are pockets of skin in the crease of the buttocks near the end of the tailbone (coccyx). They usually begin where ingrown hairs push into the folds of the skin, which irritates and inflames the skin.

The only thing that this accomplished was it made Obama a stronger candidate by having to take on the machine longer than anticipated and making the Clinton's dish out another $10-20M of their own money. LMAO! Thanks Rush!

OK.

So where were all of you professional whiners when the Paultards were registering Republican (after years of being an admitted Independent or Democrat) so that they could vote in the primaries?

Hypocrites.

" Demanding a recount as provided for by Florida law = Stealing the Presidency?? "

Yeah particularly when you try to change the rules and the method for counting.

Gore's people tried to count every questionable vote as a vote for him.

If it was provided for by Florida Law, why did they sue?   Because it was not.  Nor where their chad theories.

There isn't a thing wrong with crossover voting.   The parties set up the rules for voting in their respective primaries. As long as people follow those rules, they should be able to vote for whoever they want, for WHATEVER reason they want. That seems pretty democratic to me.

We have closed primaries here, and when we had them several months ago, there was quite an uproar by some democrats, who were obviously ignorant, over not being able to vote for one of the republican candidates.  Some of these people came from states with open primaries where you can vote for candidates of both parties.  They said they felt like they were being disenfranchised by not being allowed to vote for one of the republican candidates.

If crossover voting is "wrong" then should we have all those states with open primaries go to closed primaries?

"Example : Cynthia McKinney - Democrat from GA. A foul and detestable woman who was able to win a congressional district that the GOP had no chance of winning. So Republicans showed up at the next Democratic Primary and all voted for her Democratic opponent. McKinney was defeated."

You can't be this dumb. That situation is COMPLETELY different. There, Republicans voted for her Democratic opponent because they disliked her and wanted to get her out of office. They legitimately voted her opponent in, and did so sincerely. That is democracy in action, and the poster-child argument for why primaries should be open to everyone, not just party members. Rush getting his nimrod followers to vote for Clinton because they want to weaken the Democratic ticket is a totally different story, and you'd have to be a complete dipshit not to recognize that.

"If it was provided for by Florida Law, why did they sue? Because it was not. Nor where their chad theories."

This is what we call a lie by omission. The first lawsuits were filed by the Bush camp to block recounts. These lawsuits failed. Gore only filed suit after Bush crony Katherine Harris certified the vote for Bush despite not having full recount results from Palm Beach county.

Please E.Kanye, they are talking about their "feelings" that they were robbed.

Their "feelings" can't be wrong.  You are clouding this discussion with facts.

Le Shat - Spare me the crying. Libtards have harrassed Republican conventions, campaign centers, conservative speakers at universities etc..for years. We fire back with some hard tactics and you ladies cry? Get over it.

The difference here is that I think what those college students did was wrong. You think that what this prominent media mouthpiece of the right wing did was right.

Le Shat - No the difference being what the one asshat college student did was illegal, what the thousands of conservatives have done is not (though potentially far more damaging).
