This is just in from Sen. Coburn's office. Obama has authored a bill, and it is now in the Senate, to give the UN .7% of our GNP to be used to feed hungry 3rd worlders, AND to use UN force to disarm all gun owners. No one in the media has brought this to the attention of the general people.

Subject: RE: Obama's bill S2433 passed the committee and going to the Senate

Obama's bill S2433 would require the U.S. to initially direct .7 percent of our GNP into the United Nations coffers for distribution as they see fit, for "food" to third world nations. Under earlier agreements this would evolve into a national tax on the U.S. with the UN attempting to levy this on all first world nations.

The U.S. would be required to surrender some of its sovereignty over foreign aid by putting it under UN control. The bill would force the U.S. to sign onto the U.N.'s Millennium Declaration, which would commit us not only to "banning small arms and light weapons" but also to adhere to the International Criminal Court Treaty and the Kyoto Protocol.

The U.N. would have the power to increase this rate of taxation.

Here is the text of the bill, looking into the gun control issue, it seems like the summit of 8 is going to raise aid to Africa from 25,000,000,000 to 50,000,000,000 annually by 2010. God damn What are they doing with all that money. Someone is gettting rich

 SEC. 2. FINDINGS.

Congress makes the following findings:

(1) More than 1,000,000,000 people worldwide live on less than $1 per day, and another 1,600,000,000 people struggle to survive on less than $2 per day, according to the World Bank.

(2) At the United Nations Millennium Summit in 2000, the United States joined more than 180 other countries in committing to work toward goals to improve life for the world's poorest people by 2015.

(3) The year 2007 marks the mid-point to the Millennium Development Goals deadline of 2015.

(4) The [Struck out->]United Nations [<-Struck out] Millennium Development Goals include the goal of reducing by one-half the proportion of people worldwide, between 1990 and 2015, that live on less than $1 per day, cutting in half the proportion of people suffering from hunger and unable to access safe drinking water and sanitation, reducing child mortality by two-thirds, ensuring basic education for all children, and reversing the spread of HIV/AIDS and malaria, while sustaining the environment upon which human life depends.

(5) On March 22, 2002, President George W. [Struck out->]Bush stated

[<-Struck out] Bush participated in the International Conference on Finance for Development and endorsed the Monterey Consensus, stating

`We fight against poverty because hope is an answer to terror. We fight against poverty because opportunity is a fundamental right to human dignity. We fight against poverty because faith requires it and conscience demands it. We fight against poverty with a growing conviction that major progress is within our reach.'.

      (6) The 2002 National Security Strategy of the United States notes: `[A] world where some live in comfort and plenty, while half of the human race lives on less than $2 per day, is neither just nor stable. Including all of the world's poor in an expanding circle of development and opportunity is a moral imperative and one of the top priorities of U.S. international policy.'.

      (7) The 2006 National Security Strategy of the United States notes: `America's national interests and moral values drive us in the same direction: to assist the world's poor citizens and least developed nations and help integrate them into the global economy.'.

      (8) The bipartisan Final Report of the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States

      released in 2004

Maybe we can fix our own problems first before taking on fixing the world? Our charity orgs do more work and give more money than most countries already.

"God damn What are they doing with all that money. Someone is gettting rich"

If you know anything about the UN, you know that it'll be the UN staffers that will be getting rich. It shockingly corrupt, and there's very little transparency.

Given the grossly disproportionate amount Amwericans already pay to keep the UN functioning (the US pays for 22% of the UN budget) I don't think we need to give them more money-- not to mention the private giving Americans provide to the world's poor, which far outstrips any other nation.

But any Congressman can introduce a bill. I don't know what its prospects are for moving through committee. It does tell us where Obama is coming from though.

The law doesn't say anything of the sort.

It directsthe President to make a plan to achieve goals that the U.S has already agreed to.  It does not give any authority to the U.N.

I read it and it makes me sick.  The part where they talk about implementing a dress code for school kids, where girls needs to wear scarves on their heads, is an outrage.  Why scarves?

This is just step 1.  Step 5 has UN soldiers swarm out streets and kidnap our women to work as sex slaves in their harems.

LOL. Steve72 pwns Redtard again, by merely reading the fucking bill.

It calls for the President to "develop a strategy" and to give two reports on the strategy, one in 2012 and another in 2015.

oooooh, I'm scared. He's gonna do a PowerPoint Presentation!

He'll refute this, claiming that he never said it. When presented with the quotes from previous threads, he'll still refute it, and claim a conspiracy against him.

The race isn't over yet.

"LOL. Steve72 pwns Redtard again, by merely reading the fucking bill. "

Incorrect yet again, I merely posted an article for discussion and Steve72 was kind enough to give his interpretation of it. Still, it is one man's interpretation. You seem to be under the misunderstanding that I wrote the article.

Wrong yet again. I've even got it written on my blog and I wont be editing it. The NWO are a fickle bunch.

""The whole point of a legal document is that it's interpreted in a single way.'

I disagree with that, many legal documents are written so that they can be interpreted in numerous ways. We often see this with contracts and laws. That is why the courts are often filled with lawyers arguing over the interpretation of legal documents,

except that you don't provide a link to an actual article. You provide links to text of the bill, and to a Washington Watch blog where people make comments on the bill, analogous to linking an OG Steve W thread as an "article" on horsecock.

Now, in doing even the smallest amount of research from the Internet (which you claim to do), by going to Senator Coburn's own website, and researching all press releases and news articles and floor statements made by the Senator in the year 2008, there is no comments on this bill. So in other words, your "article" is a bunch of bullshit, which like all the other stupid bullshit you post on here, you tend to believe at face value without doing any actual research, as long as it coincides with your own predetermined conclusions.
