I have a pair of nike slingshot irons, that i can pick up very cheap, so far i've only hit them at the range but they are feeling good, better then the r7s i tested

my only concern with the irons is that i think they may be damaged, a few of the lower clubs are open on the back above the little metal strip where as the higher clubs are completely solid on the back above and below the metal strip

is that normal?

Go to a Golf Galaxy or some other store that will have a new set on the floor and compare.

Their customer service is good.

Still, as much as I love their woods and hybrids, I don't think that the irons are there yet.

Be sure to try Ping G10s and the Wilson Ci7.

I'm playing Nike driver, fairway and 2 hybrids--and their wedges as well. Still, the irons have yet to impress me.
