A SDS in Alpha 2/247 wrote this....Just wanted to see if anyone is certifying Privates in Level 1 besides FT Benning? I think this is a good program and should be in all Basic Training Units. We have been doing this program for about 7 months. Just in my company alone, we have 6 Level II, 3 Level III, and 2 starting Level 4 next month. Does every unit stress combatives like this and do you think it is a good thing to add it to the 9 week training program?

Is this REALLY happening? Are Basic Combat Training Soldiers being certified at Fort Benning?

Fort Bragg Combat MMA, Coach

It is my understanding the soldiers are given he option to complete the ATC drill to get certified Level I. I have had at least 10 IET soldiers that upon arriving to Bragg, have completed the Level II will me. I was surprised a bit when they showed the certificate from basic.

Good Times.
