I'm in the mood for an awesome steak, but I'm not leaving Los Angeles. Tell me where?

Pacific Dining Car on 6th Street in Los Angeles or on Wilshire Boulevard in Santa Monica. Aged prime beef grilled on mesquite.

I have heard a lot of good things about Pacific Dining Car as well.  Cut would be my personal choice but they are a little different than a basic old school steakhouse.

mastro's steakhouse... like buttah really hits the spot. and it rapes your wallet in the process. i think steaks are in that 40 range with everything ala carte you know what i mean.

EXCELLENT steak, very affordable. Has an old school vibe.  You feel like Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., and Dino are gonna stroll in any second.  A friend told me about it, and I called him and thanked him profusely!
