 What is a good type of tomato to use for salsa? I was at the market the other day ,and there are about a brazillon types of tomato, and I got confused.

Pickin's are slim here, so I typically just go with whichever ones look ripe and in good shape.

That's pretty much my rule of thumb for anything that uses tomatoes.

Roma tomatoes are what Mexicans use, so that is what I use.
