It's his mental game more than anything else that is affecting his performance IMO. He was terrible in games 1 and 2 but is starting to play better and generating chances. Almost scored on a wicked wrister last night that Osgoode couldn't handle and assisted on the 3OT winner.

He is getting his confidence back. He just needs to stay calm and keep things simple. But he did make an amateur idiot play last night when his line was heading off after a long shift and instead of dumping the puck into Detroit's zone he tried a pass across the neutral zone and almost got caught. He's 21 and still learning.

Amazing how the men can make the boys disappear. Didnt he get an assist on the winner tho?
