I hope Strangle posts the official results here, as I will not get back from Gadsden until late on Sunday Night.

Good. Me either. Wish I could go to gadsden but I have to stay here and junk. I may get to catch the Tragic City Rollers though depending on what time Tina gets off.

I am there bro. Is it okay to take an infant to a roller derby? LOL. Can I smoke? Can I drink and drive? Do I have to beat Tina when I get home? Hey. I am just trying to get into character. I have this really cool worker shirt that I am going to wear.

Dude, a worker shirt. It is a Roadway shirt. You know. A uniform shirt that is worn by peasant types who actually have those blue collar jobs. Duh. Worker shirt.

Well, that's what I thought, but I didn't know if YOU thought a "worker shirt" was, like, part of a magician's get up, or something.

How would you feel if admin assistants were parading around as lawyers and actually getting paid to do so? Huh?

sorry for the delay guys. Got back really late last night and was tired as hell. Left my fight card sitting on my seat...blogged the results live on CBS42.com but they removed them about an hour ago for some new stuff....so this is from memory! Don't have the Thai rules fights here and may be missing one or two of the mma fights but here goes.

Bourman defeats Roberts via decision.

Moore defeats Harlin via RNC rd 2

Nelson defeats Gurley via KO (knee)

Harris defeats Williams

Sarrat defeats Morse via triangle choke rd 1

Clifford defeats Gassner via RNC rd 1

Grun defeats Miles RNC rd 2

Davis defeats Mandio (Mandio cannot answer bell for 3rd round)

Nice venue, great fights. Questionable reffing in one of the thai fights...fight NEVER should have gone to the third round....really shitty ref in that one..also corner should have thrown the towelmid way through the second.

One fighter wore compression shorts into the ring....and lost.

One guy came out with a red gi and blue belt on, took it off and had basketball shorts on...then KO'd Chatt Lavender's guy with a brutal knee.

Miles vs Grun was a good fight. Miles won round one with a few takes down and a brutal slam out of an armbar....then slipped going for a td in the second round and got mounted...Grun got his back and finished it.

Davis gassed bad after round one...looked like a badass fighter who had never been out of round one....was REALLY gassed after round two...won both rounds easily....but I think he was real happy they guy couldn't answer the bell.

All in all a really good show. Thanks to Lane for hooking me and the crew up, and great job on putting together a lot of really competetive and exciting fights.

Congrats to Zach Moore, a former spartan who dominated with BJJ to an easy win...despite the fact the rumor was he was throwing up backstage because he was so nervous! Just kidding.

Also heard through the grapevine Eddie Bravo will be doing a seminar in Bham next month at the infamous Shadow MMA.

realy good story to tell you guys about Taco Bell after the fights...lots of really tough guys in that place...story to come later.

Also, Matt Crump, aka BlazerInTraining was hitting on ring card girl that was clearly a dude....was seen making out with him/her later in the evening, caressing the she-male's adam's apple....more on that to come later as well.

something about the ring card girl's "clitenis".....developing.

14) 3 Rounds Mixed Martial Arts Light Heavyweight

Patrick Mandio (Alliance Jui Jitsu/Atlanta GA)
versus
Chris Davis (Headhunters Combatives/Gadsden AL)

Winner: Chris Davis by Medical Stoppage at the end of round two.
Mandio was going to come out for the third round, but the fight was stopped by the Doctor, due to very bad cuts under both of Mandio's eyes. Mandio was taken to the Hospital for stiches. A great Fight and congatulations to Chris Davis on a well earned Pro Debut Victory.

Regarding Fight # five:
Langston's Drunken Money tecnique was ineffective versus Shaddock's constant pressure.  Shaddock was hitting Langston with the "Kitchen Sink" , including several clean elbow shots, and not hurting Langston, whom fought back often. Neither Fighter seemed to have the ability to hurt the other and the Ref said that he was trying to just let  Langston finish the fight, but it eventually became clear that the fight was becoming too sloppy to stomach.

The next Gadsden Event will be on September 27, 2008.

And, a special thanks to Seth Strangle for coming out to cover the Event, and Gadsden City Mayor who said that XFN will be the only MMA Promotion allowed from this point forward.
