Thinkin bout getting it, i have a company car during the week so i dont mind the gas guzzling during the weekends. I like the style and the off road capabilities but I noticed its either a love/hate truck.

anyone have it/opinions?

You will be selling it in 2 years when gas is $8 a gallon. Buy a used one if you really want it.

I love my FJ. Ive had it for a year and had no problems, mind you Ive only driven 4000 miles. Drove like a charm in the previous harsh long island winter. Im pretty sure it can pull a boat but I havent gotten do that yet, since i dont have one. Awesome off road capabilities. Kills the Jeep. Gas is as expected.

I'm pretty sure that's a solid front axle under the blue FJ pictured above. Most people that do any serious wheeling will use a blue tip wrench to remove the IFS and swap in a real front axle.

Looking at the spring and shock on that blue one, along with the angle of the front wheel and the amount of droop, it's definitely a solid axle.

One of the things I hate is every FJ has a white top.I have no idea why they don't have the option to get the top the colour of the truck.

On that note I have seen 2 black FJ's with a black top. They must have had them painted after they bought them.

After seeing them with the top matching the body I would def spend the money to have that done.Looked very sharp.

Those pics I posted already are this years model.Every FJ made has always had white tops. You can't buy them any different.

I really wish u could but that is the way it is.

So when I get one next year the first thing I will be doing is getting the roof painted the same colour as the body.Looks so much better.

I'm just glad I get the Toyota discount.
