I am curious what type of ball everyone plays with.  Are certain balls better for certain skill sets?

what you hittin for a driver? how bad is the bias on the driver? have you tried swingin 3/4speed with the driver. I find that helps when your in a slump

I've been going between 3 this year:
  1. Callaway ix - good ball.  Very long with good spin.  Probably the most durable high end ball I've played (I actually used one for 16 holes, hitting plenty of wedge shots, without destroying the cover.
  2. Taylormade TP Red LDP - gives me a great, penetrating trajectory.  Also pretty durable for premium ball.
  3. Top Flite GAMER - for $20/dozen, it's hard to beat.  Good spin, great feel and extremely durable.

with clubhead speed of 108 you're not going to drive a 300 yrd par 4 so don't try.  just put one in the fairway about 100 yards out and try to knock the pin down on your second shot.

Consistently 250 and hitting 70+% of fairways beats 300 yarders that maybe find a fairway twice a round.

Find what works for you.

Diggs, get that Hank Haney video from Amazon for like $12.99.

He has some of the best stuff regarding the slice that I've ever seen. Basically, he discusses looping it outside on the way back to get you firing from inside on the way down.

NO slice.
