Knocked out the Champions League by a pub team.

Worst Rangers game I have ever seen.
Celtic can have their title party just now, we will not stop them.

I was going to say that was a bit harsh.

On reflection you are probably correct.

lol at Rangers losing to Hearts' deadbeat Lithuanian daddy

Though, truth be told, it's actually a bad thing for Celtic. One of the main reasons behind their come from behind league title last season was Gers being alive in the latter stages of 4 competitions. This will make for fewer fixtures and more time to concentrate on the SPL

That being said, Rangers crashing out of Europe before Celtic have even kicked a ball makes me smile

Wasn't there some possibility once that rangers/celtic would join the premiership? It doesn't make sense for a not-particularly-big island to have two top-flight leagues.

"Rangers are a bunch of duds. "

You are correct.

Truly pathetic.

Though this does mean they can concentrate on wresting the title from Celtic with far fewer distractions.

They would have won the title last year if the didn;t have to play an obscene amount of games for their UEFA and other cup runs.

"Wasn't there some possibility once that rangers/celtic would join the premiership?"

Yes Rangers and Celtic both would join if give the chance. But is is a lot more complicated than that.

"It doesn't make sense for a not-particularly-big island to have two top-flight leagues. "

The Scottish league is a long way from being top flight, although rangers and celtic are two of the biggest clubs in the world.

Rangers and celtic would be mid table at best in the English league. Probably lower over the last few years.

They will never and should never be allowed to enter the Premier League. NEVER.

To make matters worse they are going to sell Carlos Cuellar to Villa for £7.8million.

Get this guy in your fantasy team before kick off on Saturday.

If Rangers and celtic had access to the same kind of money English teams can get and they would be able to compete very well against other premiership teams.

They didn't have a choice in that, Cuellar had a release clause in his contract. they wouldn't have let him go if they didn't have to.

On this subject, I read this in an editorial about the Cuellar transfer, kind of made me chuckle:

"(the transfer of Cuellar)...leaving Rangers bereft of a plan of action and to compound matters, that scourge of Ibrox, Martin O'Neill, paid €10m for Carlos Cuellar, which is utterly useless to them, where on earth are Rangers going to be this season that they can pay in Euros? I am sure the irony was not lost on the former Celtic manager."

Fee has been agreed on with MLS for Edu, and he's already agreed terms with them. Just needs a work permit

Looks like we may have traded him for real grass.

Mo Johnson is already talking about putting TFC's share of the the 5 million towards actual grass, which would just be fantastic. Now if only we can keep the argo's at bay.

lol at selling a player for grass!

If that is the case then this transfer can be added to the list of all time greats, including Ian Wright being sold for a set of weights and Zat Knight being sold for 30 tracksuits...
