DO YOU TRAIN THAT QUICK DRAW FROM ANKLE HOLSTER WITH BDU'S/PATROL UNIFORM PANTS AS WELL. SEEMS IT WOULD ADD A FINE MOTOR SKILL THAT WOULD GREATLY DIMINISHED DURING A HIGH COMBAT STRESS SITUATION.

WTXMMA.

Thanks for the response.

First, everything diminishes under stress.

However the positions you would draw from are stress induced through your brain response mechanism.

The draw motion itself is a gross motor skill and is done when you are in a controlling position. More experienced guys can perform the task in transition.

I want to note prior to the draw it is vial to understand the NLR aspect of the system.

Never lose retention. This is a retention system for ground fighting, to not only protect the officers weapon, but also to prevent the offender from deploying a weapon as well, based on the high % draw points.

At times just being confident regarding retention is enough, however during an officer survival situation a deployment might be
needed.

BTW the quick draw system deploys from the ankle and the side arm holster, both.
