Not that kind of fattie.
Smoking breakfast sausage, either cut straight out of the tube and laid in the smoker or rolled and stuffed. Anyone do this? I'm smoking the Thanksgiving turkey and my brother wants me to make a few of these. I'd never even heard of it but there are entire sub-forums dedicated to the art of the Fattie. I'm going to make one straight out of the tube and then a couple more with stuffing. One will definately be full of jalapenos.

I've tried this a couple of times with "breakfast sausage" since we can't get Jimmie Dean's here... it's not so good with the "breakfast sausage" I used.
I made one once using some Country Style Sausages that I unpacked and rolled into a big hog, it was pretty good.
Never stuffed them, but I hear good things about it... Jimmie Dean or whatever is supposed to be the way to go.
