Planning on using my smoker for higher volumes than usual before the snow sets in.Is it better to freeze a pork shoulder/butt shredded or whole?

Thanks, was sort of what I figured. Just took two pork butts out of the smoker(6 hours), finishing off in the oven as I want to shred before midnight. Snow just starting to come down.
