I got the weird idea to simmer my ground beef in a bottle of St. Peter's Cream Stout. I'm attempting to make a spicey meat sauce.

Anyone have any neat recipes using stouts..I have heard of it being in stews before so I know it gets done...anyone ever make a pasta sauce before?

Well I did it. Mostly the stout imparted a nice taste to the beef and may have sweetened up the sauce. I think the tomatoes were kinda overpowering any of the stronger tastes the stout may have tried to impart.
