Or more specifically Ankylosing Spondylitis.

The doc has said I need to get this checked out with a blood test as my si joint has been giving me alot of trouble for a yrar and he looked at the x-rays and said it is possible.

So has anyone got this or knows much about it? how do you do training?

Truemanc3,

I've had this for about 15 years. It's basically a form of arthritis, an autoimmune disease, affecting the sacroiliac area, spine, ribs, etc. Fusion of the spine happens resulting in a poker spine, at least from what I've read. You can google and read up. I am able to train BJJ with no major discomfort. I follow Michael Jen's MBF program. MBF could help you out if NSAID's, TNF meds haven't been working for you. Good luck.
