Roast duck that was brined in the juice of pickled olives along with apples, onions, mint, and rosemary (these later got stuffed inside it).

My original recipe of vegetable pie (see some of my T-Day threads for this recipe).

Risotto made from brown rice and the duck's drippings.

Poached pears were the desert plan, but we were too stuffed.

 I made a prime rib coated in horseradish mustard, rosemary, and garlic. Made a nice au jus from the drippings (had onion, garlic, and carrots in the pan), some port, and a little beef stock. Served it along with mashed potatoes and steamed asparagus.

My gal made top round sirloin...

I made some roasted garlic sweet yams with cream cheese.


and we combined for a huge thing of grilled onions, sugar peas/snowpeas/french beans/shalots
