I'm sure that a lot of you guys have a tent of some fashion in your closet that you plan on using in a bug out situation. Have you guys toted yours around? Do you have a fancy one or just a simple dome?

Luckily, I'm a smaller guy ( 5'7, 155). I've found that I can fit in a childrens dome tent. There is little room inside it once I'm in, but I have enough room to lay diagonal across the floor and stash my stuff the the corner. The weight difference between the childrens dome and my usual 3 adult tent is ridiculous. I don't even notice the childrens dome when its in my pack. I can have it set up in under 5 minutes with out rushing. For these reasons, this is my bug out portable shelter.

I have a NorthFace Mountain 25 for winter camping. I've trekked with that and loads of other gear. I really need a light 3-season tent.
