In my little firm, there are two partners, and only one associate right now. I could use another one or two.

My group has 4 associates and 2 partners. 1 associate should make partner this year and we get another associate in the fall so it will be 4 associates and 3 partners.

There are no partners and I'm the only associate (and I'm only part-time).

6 partners to 1 associate in our practice group.

Our firm probably appears top heavy from the outside, but non-equity partners seem to account for a fairly large share.

goku - we do management side labor and employment, so yes, we do a fair amount of litigation.
