I've found that a cloth with some warm, soapy water works pretty well. Wipe it down, wipe it again with some clean water, dry it off.

Alternatively, I've used some of the quick drying mat cleaner we have at the gym, which seemed to do the trick as well.

I sprayed ands them wiped it out with warm soapy water. I sed a pretty tough disinfectant on it and let it sit for 15 minutes. We have had a bunch of soldiers use these recently and I wanted to make sure they were sanitized

Jason same deal here, we also use spray lysol at the end. We also have a spray cleaner that is used in operating rooms as an antibaterial cleaner. Don't put them back in the bag, hang them to dry we had to make a rack to hang them on so they get dry. You know the Army, clean dry and servicable. How are your straps holding up?

lysol, and let air out has been doing the trick to us.

Note: Lysol isn't good for the plastic visor on the head gear. Don't know why, but try to avoid it.
