For fish oil, most people swear by Carlson's brand. It's assayed to assure no heavy metals or toxins. I think it might even be purified. I use the Norwegian Salmon Oil caps. The main thing is to store them properly in a cool place (or the freezer) to prevent the oil from going rancid.

Carlson's is the brand I use now! I used to used the store brand but switched a little over a year ago due to people on here swearing by it now I am one of those people. The store brand I never noticed it doing anything for me. Since I started Carlson's I have noticed a lot of stuff one my hair and nails growing. And cholesterol has dropped on my last two check ups.

Curcumin is one of the active ingredients in tumeric. It's mechanism of action is similar to celebrex.
