I suppose they had to throw a couple Scots on there.

nutz that Andy Powell got the nod before Ryan jones.

Brian Moore reckoned Powell was to stupid to be selected.
Halfpenny makes the team and is the youngest touring player. Theat youngster has a bright future.

Other than that i don't see any striking additions/omissions.

Its nice to see Worsley go. A shock inclusion for England but played himself into the lions. Well done Worsley.

No way should Powell have been selected over Jones.  Powell is shit.

Thats a nice solid team I like it.

Powell is an Ape. Croft and Jones are hella unlucky.

I like a starting line up of

Byrne, Williams, Monye, BOD, Flutey/Roberts, O'Gara, Jones, Phillips, Heaslip, Worsley, Williams, O'Connell, Wyn-Jones, Sheridan, Flannery, Murray.

Keith Earls is a cracking wild card choice

A lot of people have been expressing surprise at Armitage missing out but on balance, given the squad they have gone for (size/power in the backs) I dont really see a place for him.

Powell on his day is the best ball carrier in British rugby.

Gethin Jenkins will start - I have no doubt about that.

16 a side?

Where the hell is Jenkins? he's the best prop in Britain and its not even close.

Armatage was unlucky not to go. I guess it must've come down to between him and Halfpenny and HPs performance v Glouster must've got him in.

I would say that Jenkins is the best prop in the world at the moment.

I feel bad for Armatage. He played 6 nations well. He has a good foot on him and takes the ball well under pressure.

Looking forward to these matches.
