Everyone goes nutty for the Les Pauls and American Strats of the world

but what are some of the lesser known electrics with amazing tone? I have to admit I'm woefully ignorant on the topic because I don't get to get out to shops and just play all the ones I'd like to :(

I also own 2 peavey patriots. Probably the most underrated undervalued american made guitars of all time. They can still be found for a benjamin

I will add some love for the Yamaha Pacifica line. I owned a tele copy once that was flame orange and played nice. I sold it in a weak moment.

I love the Ibanez RG series guitars. They look great, sound great, play great, and go for around $500.

I'm an Ibanez Prestige fan, personally.

Getting that Jeff Loomis Schecter 7-string soon.

Hear great things about Caparison guitars also.

Done more reading and it seems Fujigen makes the highest percentage of guitars sold in america than most anybody else.....crazy.

They make most yamaha and ibanez guitars and many fender and some gibson/epiphone guitars.

Hey man, you have a link for this??

I was under the impression Yamaha did most of their own shit...

Also Cort is a huge manufacturer and makes many brands' import lines, at least for basses. Pretty nice ones too generally.

Top link has a bit of a rundown.

You won't find this information on a any of the parties involved because...

1. Fujigen doesn't want to kill the golden goose.

2. Fender, yamaha, roland, ibanez others aren't interested in announcing it.

Some of their originals are ugly but everything they do is progressive and pretty good quality.
