You can find lots of clips of "lessons" on YouTube for riffs, etc. but are there sites where you can get the clip AND the TAB?

I know Jamplay does. Their selection of songs isn't that great though. The best thing about that site is that they have tons of instructional videos for lots of different genres and styles of playing.

Personally, I learn best by printing out the tab and listening to the song while learning it. If I have any trouble, then I'll try to find a YouTube clip of someone playing it to see exactly how it's done.

I think that's the best way as well. Guitartricks has video lessons, some are free but most you have to pay for. You're probably better off just grabbing a few lessons.
