I'm buying this gun for my grandfather and was wondering if anyone had anythoughts on it? Is there any difference between one that have a serial number starting with "NSW" versus ones that start with a "U"?

Thanks

I heard the NSW serial numbers were a special run that came out where some of the profits were donated to the NSW injured heroes fund. The "U" is a separate run of the gun but I have heard that some have the internal phosphate coating and others dont. I have thought about getting the p228 but it doesn't sound like that one has the internal phosphate coating either.

I appreciate your response as well.

Thanks,

Adam
