For a shelf stable product, this stuff is pretty good.

I like the Salsa Taquera, Salsa Chilpotle & Salsa Ranchera.

Good point on the salsa. Sadie's is the best around, imo.

The other one is the cheap husband of my wife's best friend, who brings crappy beer over every time, then drinks my Hoegaarden, Sierra Nevada, Ketel-1. I end up using his beer to brine chicken and pork. Fucker.

THAT is asking for a blanket party (see the movie Full Metal Jacket).

shibbytastic - Good luck finding any salsa worth eating here in upstate ny

Actually, you might be able to find really good stuff if you live near a Wegman's Grocery (I miss Wegman's Grocery!).

Goddamn, when they put that giant Wegmans in FairFux VA it was like walking into a portal to the Food Network.  They had stuff I'd never even heard of.  Some dude at the fish station was cutting up swordfish steaks to order, off a giant swordfish.  Just right there in the middle of the store, a huge fish that you walked up to and took a piece from.  Besides Five Guys it's what I miss most about that place.
