officedrone23 - The Once soundtrack has some great, beautiful original songs on it.


I just spent the morning listening to all of them off youtube in my office. I can't remember being moved more by many other movies, and the music is brilliant.

Forgot about Nutshell.

Another I forgot is "Don't Take the Girl" by I think Tim McGraw. There are about 3 country songs I like, and that is one of them.

True.

But Buckley took that song to another level and made it his version the definitive version.

...similar to what Hendrix did with All Along The Watchtower.

Arguable ..but even if true, the power in the song is at least in part, in the lyrics which were written by Cohen (and Dylan for watchtower)
