I have a 97 Sportster 883. It has 8k miles on it. I bought it and then moved and the bike was in storage for 4 years. Then I got the bike back and moved across the country. Once I got the bike where I lived I picked a company vehicle and had a shit tin of kids. I just never ever ride it because I don't have time etc. Nothing wrong with it.

I'm gonna seel it for 3K. As soon as it sells I'm gonna pick up a 94 Land Rover Discovery for the same amount. High mileage but has never had a mechanical problem. It's also geared up for off roading with winch, skid plates, snorkel etc.

I figured, at the very least, I won't drive it very much but when I want to, or need to, I'll have another vehicle to drive and have room for others. Plus I can tow a trailer with it and won't have to aske friends to borrow their truck when I buy something big.

Actually I just washed it and shined it up yesterday. If you like tinkering with shit I can see this being the perfect bike for that. Inexpensive and lots of potential.

it cost me about 600 bucks to ship it here from NY. Certainly worth it. OR, you could fly to Phoenix. I pick you up. You drive bike back to Canadia. You call chiropractor and get your spine re-aligned.

Shouldn't cost more than $400 to ship a bike anywhere in the lower 48 with Forwardair.
