If you want bjj in hayward, alliance just opened up shop a couple months ago.

If you want to do mma, then Pacific Ring Sports is the place to go if your in oakland. They also got muay thai and boxing.
I think they might also do bjj there.

You should also check out "One World Jiu-Jitsu" in Union City. Mike Prudencio (BJJ black belt) is an excellent instructor and a great guy: http://www.oneworldjiujitsuacademy.com/

I'd recommend Eduardo Rocha's school in Oakland. Eduardo is a Gracie Humaita black belt under Royler Gracie and is an amazing instructor.

I'm switching from the UFC gym (just moved here in August, first gym I found) to Pacific Ring Sports. They are Muay Thai, Boxing and MMA. Great facility, Ganyao teaches there. I was there today with Carter Williams, they have it all there. But you also have Cesar Gracie/Gil Castillo in Pleasant Hills/Walnut Creek.
