InsideMMA reporting that the first UFC event will be in Sydney on Sunday February 21.

See you there :)

Mr Dooley - is that confirmed or a rumour??

Still a rumour - from the US - but neither the UFC or ACER Arena (Sydney) will return emails asking them about Sunday 21 February, which is the time I've been told. Makes sense - lunchtime Sunday=Primetime Saturday night in the US...

But was good enough to be picked up by InsideMMA...

Running the risk of being sarcastic - did you actually read either of my posts?

I don't see them selling tickets to an event that isn't even more than a rumour. When/If tickets ever go on sale I think its safe to say we'll be amongst the first to know about it.

Just saying :)

Let me say that they are interested in coming to Australia. Now it's just a matter of trying to confirm when they might be planning to do so.

I was at UFC in Manchester when Elvis fought Bisping.
Paid approx $100 AUD for nose bleeds. Thankfully got upgraded on the day as they fucked up some allocations.
This was back in 2007.

I'll be there & as close as i can afford.

won't be getting my hopes up for any big names on the card though.

most of the OS cards have never been stacked.

Anderson Silva should be due back around then *i wish* or how about BJ Penn or Shogun ;)

would be happy with Franklin or better yet Wanderlei headlining though!

I paid $350 to see Randy Orton - I'd pay $500 easy for a UFC ticket.

I just hope it's not in f*cking February as I already have 3 different things to attend and not enough leave/money to pay for them all!
