I just stumbled upon this show, had never heard of it. It's on a channel called G4, about 4 young, online millionaires whose goal is to make 2 million dollars in 2 months playing poker. I had never heard of the 4 before , but on the premier episode tonight durrrr and OMGClayAiken also made cameo appearances. Could be a cool show

You won't be thanking him if you watch it.  The players seem like socially inept goofs.

Basically 4 players in their 20's (I've only heard of 2) rent an awesome house in LV. They have a "war room" with huge flat screens, 4 computers....tv's......the works. The goal is to win a combined 2 million in 2 months. Each week the player who loses the most/wins the least has to do a wacky stunt! They even have a personal chef. On week 1 the loser had to wear a pink tutu and blond wig to a casino buffett but he shocked the geeks by having big boobies too. He even talked to a real live girl!

Thirty minutes is way too short to try and have any character developement/plot, plus they all seem so damn uncomfortable on camera. Just record it and skip the ads. That way you only waste 20 minutes of your life.

if you follow online poker, it's definitely an amusing watch. it's pretty in line with your average quick cut/short/shallow reality show. i like that they are somewhat socially inept, and the weirder flawless_victory acts, the more i like the show.

I'm not quite sure what to think about the show.  I can't see it being appealing to non-poker players but at the same time I can only see poker players being interested because it is about poker, not for a quality show about poker.  Maybe if they weren't such dweebs it would help?  Giggling over a girl jumpin in the pool, not the fact that they were all hyped up about it, but hiding behind the curtains to watch?  lol, get out there and get a good look at those tittays.  It's like they've never seen a tit before!

Its young guys paying for TONS of money.

I did think it was pretty ironic in the first episode when Dwan and Galfond joined them for dinner. They could start their own show>>>"2 Hours 2 Milion"

can you imagine Durrrr, Patrik, Ivey and Viffer (for entertainment value) doing that show? That would be the goods.

watching episode one and I take back what I said.. ep2 was just a bit too much of the scripted stuff. if it was like ep1 for the rest this will be the most interesting poker show I've seen coming from an online players point of view..  hopefully they talk more strategy and get involved more in their individual sessions

I find these nerds interesting.  I'm not sure if they know how badly they come across.  On the other hand, they are probably looked up to by many of the nerds that watch G4.

While aspects of the show are clearly staged the show definitely has its moments.

I do find it funny that these guys are high school math wizzes.  I was just watching the poker after dark lineup of: Jesus Ferguson (UCLA PHD in CS), Brandon Adams (Double Masters at the age of 19, and teacher at Harvard), Andy Bloch (EE degrees from MIT, JD Harvard), Bill Chen (PHD Berkeley), David Slansky (Wharton drop out, actuary at the age of 20), and Jimmy Warren (Dartmouth ugrad, PHD in Physics from Brown).  I was wondering how old nerds would matchup with these young geeks in several key areas:
1.  IQ
2. Math ability
3. Poker skills
4. Social Ineptitude

#2 would definitely go to the old guard, but the rest would be interesting.  The tubby guy on 2m2mm would probably hold that team down in every category.

all of the 2m2mm guys would fucking school all of those guys at 100bb hu nl poker, and probably most forms of nl (including live deep stacked). if any of those guys (aside from b.a.) sat at an online high stakes game, a game would form around them, like it does around gus hansen. brandon adams probably has the best rep for your list of guys and might be competitive live deep stacked.

I noticed that pr1nnyraid the 2nd ranked high stakes player with $2.2 million in winnings.  Really impressive.  In 2008 he was up $388k.  He doesn't make the high stakes rankings this year (either as a winner or loser). These guys are getting up there in age though.

Do they take those off pokertube?  Couldn't access them and couldn't access WSOP last year.  Anyways, the episodes are on youtube if you search.
