Not every woman is a beauty. Ugly girls need to get drawn too (I guess). The only  "problem" is that the face is too big for the head, I think.

Very cool, RDUK. I'm a big fan of flying squirrels, myself.

What are you using for the colors? Is that ink? Watercolor? I like the effect of using washes like that. It sort of reminds me of some of David Mazzucchelli's stuff.

Yeah Orcus I guess you're right, I think but pretty women sell better ha ha. I'll get there I just have to keep practising, I dont think I spent enough time in the pencilling stage for this one I rushed too quick to ink it as it wa a sketch book piece, I definitely need to spend more time looking at the shapes and anatomy and making sure it's correct before I ink.

Rand G, that does make a big difference thanks, it also shows the head is too long, see I should have been doing that type of thing when I was pencilling it. Stupid Liefeld mistake lol.

Steve cheers, just a bit of fun that one. It's copic markers (cheaper version as I'm a student lol) water colour and India ink for the black.

Here is the Black and Blue spin off pin up in colour, changed the expression of the bouncer and eyes of prisoner as they didnt look right. .

Cartoon of the day as posted on the UG, India ink, copic markers (cheap version) and water colour, slight bit of touch up with photoshop as you cant marker over white out.

Boba Fett I did for a friends birthday, he hung it in his house the same day and loved it so it felt pretty cool to see a reaction in person.

Damn wish we had models like that lol!

One thing I used to love doing as a warm up was to use a stick or back of the pencil dipped in ink and just freehand the model, you get some great variations in contour and splash marks that can run down.

Really dig your shading work mate, It's always top notch.

I felt inspired by the Mack thread so had an attempt at doing a painting along the same lines in terms of the way of working. The person is the fighter from Black & Blue's spin off comic. I'm not sure how close I got but it was a fun experiment, might mess with it a bit digitally and make a cover from it.
