3 players left.Player 1 has AA 10,000 in chips. Player 2 has QQ 5000 in chips. Player 3 has KK 3000 in chips. All 3 player go all in. Pocket aces holds knocking out players 2 and 3. Who places second place? Situation happened in a house game, small argument went on. Is it the better hand or is it the one who had more money before getting knocked out?

It is based on chip count, not best hand. So QQ gets second and KK gets third.

It's based on the player who has read the most poker books.

Player 3 wins because he owns Super system 1, 2

Player 2 would have won but he has only read Hellmuth's piece of garbage "play poker like a pro"

always chip count. what happens in the obscenely impossible scenario where both players have QQ and equal chips?

if they have the same number of chips I think it's just a tie.

in a split pot, where money can't be split exactly like splitting 25c into 13 and 12 I think the closest to the dealer gets the extra 1c, so in a tourney it's possible that the closest to the dealer finishes ahead but i don't think so. I think tie.

Yeah, you just chop the two prizes into an equal amount. If 2nd is $100 and $50, then they would both get $75.
