My wife has an SLR and wants to start getting in to photo editing so I suggested she gets photoshop then nearly did a shit when I realised its 600 quid.

For someone that is not a tech head and just wants to play around with touching up and editing photos would elements be fine or is it a glorified Picasa?

And probably more importantly - will I be able to do romoshops with elements?
