They should at least have given him Baroni.

Brock Larson vs. Nick Diaz! Book it Strikeforce!

Two bad nights in a row, lost every other big fight, makes a lot for undercard fighter.  All signs point to the exit.

I kept wondering if he was injured or something. Didn't look right in that fight to me. Shame for him and I wish him the best with his new promotion.

Brock Larson:
“It’s probably a good thing,” Larson stated via text message. “I was having a hard time getting motivated for my last two fights. I needed a change. The undercards just didn’t do it for me.”

I think Kang will get one more shot, at least all his UFC fights were competitive and exciting.  Larson was dominated in an extremely boring fight, then followed it up by getting brutally beaten in his next fight despite fouling his opponent twice.

Can't wait for him to get a couple wins outside the organization so the anti-Zuffa crowd can rant about how great he is...

same here went 7-1 >< cause of him, and he was one of the picks that i was solid about; still don't get me wrong i'm happy with 7-1.

Too bad for larson, I wouldn't mind them giving him another chance, seeing as the pierce one was pure lnp, and even dana admitted it. I figure'd they'd give a second shot after a tko.

But yeah it does make sense, can't fight off lnp... get's ktfo'd... might as well cut i guess.

ChokeEmOut -  He did tap to strikes which is almost unheard of at the top level of MMA.

St. Pierre tapped to strikes against Serra.

That doesn't make it any less uncommon.

Spencer Fisher tapped to strikes against Joe Daddy.  It's more common than you would think.

I would have guessed he would get one more shot, but not a total surprize.

WTF happened to him? He looked like a total wrecking machine against Pyle, then was thoroughly dominated in 2 straight fights.

Just had a few bad fights, he's fucking good. It's stupid to cut him, especially since his last 2 fights were so close together.

That's some karma coming back at him for the Alessio fight.

I guess it depends on how you define "common". Armbars, rear naked chokes, and triangle chokes I'd call common submissions. Knee bars, toe-holds, and tapping from strikes I'd call uncommon at the highest levels of MMA.

Yea I agree I'd have given him one more fight, maybe against someone like Yoshida where they could have easily justified cutting the loser.
