I'm a partner so it's a little different, and it's a small firm, but I took a 7% raise this year. Very minimal shareholder distributions (less than $20k) this year though. Lots and lots of slow paying clients, but still had to bonus my associate, secretary, and receptionist. Gave my associate a 6% raise, and a $5000 bonus. We do raises in mid-year, and bonues at year end.

Got a 10k bonus and a 2.5% raise.  When they broke it to me they thought I might be bummed, but as I'm stoked to still be employed I was falling all over myself giving thanks.  I was pissed in that big run up back in 07 that our firm wasn't keeping up, but then many of my buddies at those joints got laid off or had their salaries cut back so its pretty equivalent again.  I'd hate to be coming out of school though into this environment.

ttt for goku getting that bonus

i along wiht my fellow city workers took a 10% furlough pay cut this year

the mayor wants to close the budget shortfall...says everyone needs to share the burden...yet the furlough and layoffs do not apply to the mayor or his staff
