"I don’t think this fight will hit the ground, I believe I am a better striker and I want to prove that, I am not afraid to stand and strike with anyone. If the fight goes to the ground it is my place anyway."

"I am always going to be prepared to fight anyone and Junior is in my way to get back to title contention. I think I am very mature at this moment and I am in the top of my game I will be very well prepared for this fight."

"I will have that belt one day, you can mark it, I train a lot for this and I believe that will be sooner then later."

Should be a great fight.  Dos Santos looks to be a much better striker, but Gonzaga has better 1-punch (or kick, or knee) KO power.

Can't win without self confidence. Dos Santos has showed to be a better striker but the difference doesn't seem to be that vast.

will be a great fight, very competitive.
but Gonzaga always fades as the fight drags on.  i see Junior breaking him down with those thudding body shots and puttin him away late

Goodness.

Really?

You've seen Dos Santos fight, yeah?

I also think (and hope) that Gonzaga takes this, although not easily.

Dos Santos is no joke. It will definately be a great fight!

Well Gonzaga always folds if he's fighting someone who pushes the pace and no Hw in the UFC does that better than JDS. so by that logic im gonna say Dos Santos by first round Ko

Gonzaga might be done in the UFC if he don't take this.

"Folds" is a strong word...I thinka better word would be "fades"

When I think of folding, I think of Soko

but I agree with what you are saying

I like Gonzanga, but homeboy has zero heart.  He gets hit too many times, he crumbles!

Gabe can win this fight, but standing with JDS isn't his best bet.

If Gonzaga is as mature as he says, wouldn't he want to take this fight to the ground where, as he puts it, it is his place? That would seem to be a more mature approach to me than wanting to prove he is the better striker.

*shrugs* Looking forward to the fight, though.

Hopefully he is just saying this is his game plan and goes out and takes JDS down.

Otherwise i think JDS' power might be too much for Napao to overcome.

Gonzaga will need to use his better kicks to keep Dos Santos at bay. If he gets in close Dos Santos will put Gonzaga to sleep.

Todd Duffee - no heart.
Be sure to say this to him when he is in front of you.

He would be a massive favourite over you, and Id bet heavily on him.

Duffman is one hundred percent correct. Gonzaga is one of the biggest underachievers in the sport. He's got every tool to be a champion, but when pressured by an elite fighter...he folds like a cheap suit every single time.

If Duffee fought GG, I'll take Duffee in that fight all day.

I like Gonzaga a lot, but he seems to crumble under pressure. Dos Santos, on the other hand, is a human wrecking ball. So, Dos Santos via TKO Rnd 1.

I hope his gameplan isn't exclusively to stand with Dos Santos. I'd like to see someone at least attempt a takedown against Junior to see how his wrestling and if he gets put on his back how his grappling is before he fights one of the top wrestler HWs (Lesnar, Carwin, or Cain).
