 The wife usually makes some pretty good no bake oatmeal cookies.  The last couple of times she has tried to make these; as she adds the oats to the molten chocolate the entire batch turns into dust.  It is the weirdest thing I have ever seen.

Liquid chocolate +  oats =  chocolate flavored dust.

My question is;

A. She has been adding all the oats at once.  Should she be slowly adding the oats to the chocolate mixture?

B. Is it possible her chocolate is not hot enough?  I know fudge does some weird things if you dont get the temp right.

Needless to say she is pissed right now about two bad batches of cookies.  She has never had a problem with this cookie in the past.  She is threatening to not make these cookies anymore, which is no good because they are one of my favorites.

Any help is appreciated

Did his advice work and are you willing to share the recipe?
