Just to let everyone know, if you have a fight as a pro and you have a show purse and a win purse, it most be documented on the bottom lines of your contract that you do get your show money if there is no fight.  The base purse line being filled out does not legally bind you to your show money, the bottom section must have an amount or percentage to constitute a legal obligation to be paid by the promoter.
Second, if you have a sanctioned pro fight in any state or country, you and the promoter can be criminally charged if you participate in a nonsanctioned show inside the state.  It does not matter if you are paid for the fight or not. It does not matter if you fight another pro or not.  Just thought I would let you know.  There are a couple of shows in Feb that the commisiion is aware are planning on having pro and ammy fighters on the card.  If you aren't licensed or have any sanctioned fights as a pro, then you are ok, but don't get caught getting paid anything but a ticket sales percentage or $100.  Good luck to everyone.
