I'm trying to get refreshed on Algebra and Trig before my calculus class in several months. I'm most of the way through a book called Painless Algebra. The problem is that the book is very basic. What book or DVD would you recommend after I'm done with this?

Khan Academy is awesome. So is PatrickJMT on youtube. PatrickJMT's videos are shorter, but he explains stuff so much better than the Khan videos. The Khan videos are great, and much more extensive than PatrickJMTs.

I'd also check out the Algebra and Trig: A Graphing Approach. It's expensive, but you can find it online (google the author's names). It'll take you all through the Pre-Calc algebra you need to know.

Thanks gents. I'm working through the Complete Idiot's Guide to Pre Calc right now. This stuff isn't as hard as I remember it being.

Remember a number cannot be divided by zero. If you make it up to Optimization problems. Just remember Thales's theorem and trigonmetry. Good luck!!

I've been working my way through The Complete Idiot's Guide to Pre-Calculus. If I can finish it in time, I want to start on the Gibson DVDs before the class starts.

Groundfighter, that vid was awesome on so many levels my friend.
