I've only been playing for 2 years. No need to buy such an expensive guitar. But that thing is sooo beautiful and sounds sooooo sweet!!!

I'd love a Gibson Super JUmbo. But I just keep reminding myself one day I'll have it.

DO IT! Hummingbirds are insane, plus they hold their resale.

Looking at new. Used is not too much difference in price.

My Dad has a Hummingbird. Bought it in the early 70s for about $400. It's a beautiful guitar, and sounds fantastic. I have a decent Martin, but it doesnt' compare to the Hummingbird.

Since they hold value so well it only makes sense to buy new. Factory Warrenty anyone?

You ever buy this? Dragged out the Taylor (just the Big Baby, nothing crazy), hadn't played geetar in forever, reminded me of this thread.

Finally, I got me a Gibson. But it wasn't a hummingbird. I got a J-45 :) It just sounded better for my ear. Not as good looking as the bird but it doesn't look bad at all. Took me a little to save 2gs ;)
