NCAA92 -  How much was the food? Any crazy stuff? Easy cooking, etc?

Food was super easy, nothing out of hand, it seems like a part of Dolce's beleif is to mess with food as little as possible before eating it, so thats good for me because I am very busy.

I bought the first week of food and it was under 100 bucks. Not bad for eating healthy.

Yes I will be very honest if it sucks, the meals all look super good,
but I won't lie about my weight loss / energy levels

Ring Girl - still - if someone says he's in the 220-230 range he himself either does not know exactly or is biased to give an unexact number.

What we were talking about was terms "walk-around-weight" and it's worth and "to cut down from" and the term's practical worth.

cutting and losing weight are very different and it saves lots of hassle to keep them separate. i'm not having that chael cuts from 230 to 185, although its conceiveable he starts there at some point

I'd like to add that he starts from there at some point but probably SHOULDN'T HAVE TO. That was one of the main points I'm trying to make here. That this 230 is not a functional walk-around weight for somebody fighting at 185.

LOL - He did give me an exact number, I just can't remember it 'cause I wasn't obsessing over his weight. It was 220-something. He knew exactly what he weighed 'cause he was just starting to diet. This was like 8 weeks out from the last fight.

Well, might've been he ate a ton the day before and then was 225.

As I said - I'd have a hard time believing somebody loses (via weight loss + water cut) more than 20% in 8 weeks unless they carry a fair amount of unnecessary excess weight to begin with.

Yeah, but Leigh in your case if you drop the last 15% in last 2 weeks, isn't that +15% the most d
functional weight which you could maintain WITHOUT some u
inhumane effort for extended period of time while performing at your highest level in training?

cos i'm pretty lean at 73kg and get down to 61kg, although that's an already inflated 73kg. but yeah, a 20% loss would mean being up at 76kg and i'd be a bit blimpsh at that weight

73kg to 61kg is a huge drop in wieght.

76kg to 61kg would be require amputation.

I do 73 to 61 in 2 weeks. I could definitely do 20% in 8 weeks but i don't see the point. I wouldn't put that all back on again as I'd be a physically smaller person. May as well fight up a weight if you are dropping 20% and you're lean

I have to say, i do not envy that type of cut.

The lack of food over a 2 week would kill me physically and emotionally.

That would take a hell of alot of will power and mental strength to keep cutting to that weight in every fight esp if fighting semi regularly.

73 to 65 is perfect, even for day before, as long as that 73 is your lowest, leanest, cleaned out weight. I'm only 73 after a really good feed and I can settle down to 69 pretty easily with a few days of conservative eating

Alright, week one out of the way...
I started last monday morning at 262lbs (6'3" tall).
As of 2pm today I weigh 254.

8lbs in a week. I feel great, but I wish the meals had a little more variety.
VERY filling, I am a little shocked how much I am eating.
I am also pretty surprised at how much fucking fluid I am intaking.

bought week 2's food today, and it was 87 dollars.
