My physio has informed me that my glutes are underdeveloped.

I figure that in combination with doing weight training and various bodyweight exercises I'll try some kicking drills.

Are sidekicks the best kick to exercise the glutes?

What other kicks make good utilization of the glutes?

All of them?

Thanks in advance.

Skip the kicking drills and do sprints. Sprints up an incline are ideal.

I would not say best excercise because you will have enough to worry about getting the form right(unless you are a beginner) Some of the above suggestions are really good.

back kicks. make sure your form is good or you will screw up your back.

side kicks will work glut medius, the hip muscles on the side. the back kick or turning side, will work gluteus maximus, the ass muscle.
