For the last 8 months, when driving the truck sounds/feels like it goes into overdrive for a second...them comes right back down.  You can hear it, the RPM's jump about 200-300, and then come right back down.  It NEVER happens when I am accelerating rapidly...usually when I am pegged at a speed; if I back off the gas a little, it jumps up then back down.

Any thoughts?  This happens 80% of the time.  THere are times that it does not happen.  Could it be TPS?

 little stutter in rpm could be many things. tps, vacuum leak, asians, maf, map, etc

May be worth checking out your torque converter as well...

Sounds like you need some Lucas Transmission Fix.
