Australia: Paulão only to fight once

Paulo Filho will see action this July 18 at Impact FC, an Australian event that looks to promote some shows in Brazil. Paulão was all set to fight three times in a short amount of time, but now he’ll only be fighting Denis Kang.

“The Australian athletic commission didn’t permit that Paulão fight three times in such a short amount of time, unfortunately. But he’ll be going full on after Kang,” said André Bottino, who works with some of the athletes that will be in the show.

Yep, the guy fighting for the UFC MW belt couldn't do much more than outpoint him, even while Filho was suffering a schizophrenic breakdown.

I guess I'm the only one who found the news about the Besouro/Parysian fight being off to be more disappointing than the Filho news. That would've been a great fight I think.
