Does anyone know a resource for the Adidas Judo gis? Any opinion as to the quality? Also, anyone have an opinion on the Fuji gis? Looking for a cheap gi for a friend who trains once a week.
Thanks!

a cheap gi...? certainly not adidas.

try toraki... try fuji... try HSU....

they all make very affordable single weave gi's.

Assuming you are not going to attend any IJF events.

The KI gi is a durable gi, and very affordable. If you are going to get one gi, make sure it is white.

I have not owned Adidas or Fuji.

I am a bit of a gi whore. I've probably owned 30 in the last 10 years. As far as a cheap good judogi HSU and Golden Tiger are really good. The Toraki I have was a lot more expensive, but it's a double weave and my tournament gi. Adidas makes a decent gi, but as Joshua said, they arent cheap either.

I recently found a good cheap gi here in Japan, a South Korean maker called Mooto. Pretty good stuff.

Joshua raises an excellent point. You should check the prices that your club offers.

I started judo a couple of months ago. Bought a ronin from the club. It's all right but nothing great. I was thinking about the Ki. Any other input on it?

Superb gis, great people...the Premium is great and the GOLD is about as well made a gi as you can buy...

Ask for Ms. Yvonne, she'll hook you up proper.

Best,
John
