Andre, I have a feeling that our paths will soon cross.  Whenever we start playing the same stakes we should setup some matchups before you drop down some more.

To you this might be fun but to me this is my life!

By the time you take down that tournament I will be asleep.  Thanks for the offer.  You are still welcome to transfer some of your money to my account though.

Live I play either $2/$5 ($200 max buy in) or $5/$5 ($500 max). Online I almost exclusively play tournaments of various buy ins.

I'm crushing $25NL.  Well, not exactly.  I donked off a bunch of buy-ins in 25NL rush poker.  So then I decided I should play 6-max ring games.  I have won back 4 buy-ins in my last 2 sessions (25NL) , and feel pretty comfortable at this level.

You should have bet the turn on each of those hands.  On the first, you should bet to protect your hand (plus you have a gutshot).  On the 2nd, you should bet because your opponent showed weakness by checking the flop and you can possibly take the pot down there, and if he calls/raises you have 8 outs to a highly disguised straight which could make you a lot of money.  If you hit your straight on the river without betting the turn, you aren't going to make much money off the hand.

Vector, on the hand where you had 8c9c, what is your reasoning for calling a bet on the flop with nothing but a gutshot? You hit your 4 outer but should you be calling there?

Actually, I had a double belly buster gutshot on the flop.  Since there were no flush draws I had 8 outs to the nuts:  Any 6 or any 10.  Essentially this is the same as having an up and down straight draw with no flush possibilities except that this is more concealed because it's a gutshot.  The pot was $8 and I only had to call $2 to see another card.

The guy with Kings played that hand horribly preflop and on the turn and river.
