No Andre..  not this one.  But play steady.  On a side note I think I was playing in the 200k you played Sunday online.  Took 6th for $8900.

I want to get better at poker and I play on my phone a lot but people play like fucking RETARDS on Card Ace. They will call anything, fold anything, play from any position. I've gotten fucked on the river so many times by some jackass chasing his pair of twos or an inside straight draw.

I think you should have just shoved with 15 Big Blinds. You really don't want to be seeing flops with AK when you're short stacked. You also made a very small raise that lets the blinds see a cheap flop with any semi-playable hand. By not pushing All-In PF, you give your opponent a chance to do something like a Stop and Go on a ragged board, which puts you in a crappy spot. If you shove, you take that play away and might even get called by weakish hands thinking you're weak and don't want action. Picking up the blinds without showing down is never a bad thing too.

I'm playing tomorrow, and I have the perfect plan in place of folding my way to the final table.

lol. Well I dont know the quality of the competition there, but its impressive how you can often sit back and just let other people do the work for you/let people just eliminate themselves.

Just busted out. I was card dead and was getting blinded out. Had A8 on the button and shoved with 12 BBs. A middle position player that limped called with A4. Flop was 4-4-7. Ended up with $600. Sad.

That's kind of what you want in the long run. People chasind cards with the wrong odds. The problem is when everyone you're playing against stays in the had and does it (schooling). Because then you're playing against a team of idiots and in a me against them scenario, your odds take a beating.

Schooling really doesn't matter if you're playing hands that are +EV in multi-player pots and play better than your opponents post-flop. It's to your advantage as a better player to get to play post-flop with a lot of bad players. It gives them more opportunities to make mistakes. Sure there's more of a chance to get drawn out on, but you're also maximizing your wins in the big pots as well.

Andre I think your play with AK in that spot is a coin flip.Just got to go with how u feeling,Easy play for him to overbet and try to steal the pot on the SB.I guess you could have folded and maybe waited until you picked up pockets to go all in,But that's a gamble too..

I don't know how you guys play these tournaments. Other than the allure of getting famous and/or getting a sponsorship deal out of luckboxing a big tournament, I just don't see the appeal.

For me, they're incredibly boring to play and are even more of a grind than low limit poker. Oh well, to each their own.

I like these tournies for the fact that when you play cash games and some players have deep pockets they can push you around with big stacks. In a tourny everybody starts with the same amount of chips and when there gone your out! It's no fun playing against big stacks and they push you out of hands allnight.Way to easy to bust out and you don't learn shit!!

Low limit is more fustrating with all the river rats,so hard to push guys out of draws in low limit poker. That's why I like no limit,it's not poker until you put fear of busting the other player.

It's hard for most players to throw 10K on the line. You would be suprised how many seats are won in satalites and smaller casino tournys.
