Hizzay - Someone get this man a cape

Well said. If I recall correctly, in his first fight in Bellator he had some kind of children's charity on the back of his shorts and I remember how impressed I was that he would do something like that. Then I heard about him standing up for some woman who was hit by a guy. And now this latest story about trying to save a drowned girl...

Considering where he came from and what he's been through, it's really inspirational to me.

Ray Elbe - When the paramedics arrived she was already declared dead at the scene...truthfully I couldn't imagine going through this leading into a training camp. <img src="/images/phone/post_tag.png" alt="Phone Post" border="0" style="vertical-align:middle;"/>

90% of the time, when giving CPR, the victim will die. Odds are pretty stacked against ya living...

He looks great in the clips - I just dont understand this whole going to thiland thing ( no offense to ray).  But every MMA fighter I hear about going to Thiland to train gets absolutley destroyed in thier next bout in the states.

2cash2quit - His skillset is very good I don't see how he's 1-4. First person to ever finish guida if I recall.

Hes a hell of a fighter and a man.

Clay had been finished 4 times before the Huerta fight.

^^ Further proof that 2cash2quit is an uneducated troll.

it's unfortunate that the child didn't make it, Kudos to Roger for gutting it out. I'm really looking forward to his next fight, as I am for all his fights!

Anybody familiar with his home gym? I believe he trains with Dave Mene. I trained with Dave's brother Pat for a few years, a thai figher with sick skills. Roger looked like he had the skills of Pat, Roger looked good in that video, not like some BJJ guy trying to look like a striker.

met Heurta at an event about 3 years ago. He was very humble and cool. That was right after he was on the Sports Illustrated cover I think. I'm a fan.
