I wanted to get a decent effects unit for our sound system, and to use for live performances. Something that I can connect to our mixer via the aux sends, and that can use a foot switch for bypass.

I have been eye balling these 2 units:

Lexicon MPX400

Alesis MidiVerb4

Thought about this one, but only works for a single vocalist, plus its a lot of money.

TC Helicon VoiceLive 2

Any recommendations or experience with these units?
